Style Inspiration: Rita Ora!

Rita Ora is slowly becoming one of the most talked about names when it comes to fashion. In my opinion she doesn't get talked about enough! Yes some of her fashion choices are a bit "out there" to say the least but let's not forget about her BOMB outfits. This outfit I choose to re-style is so appropriate for the weather right now in Chicago! I can safely say the winter storm has passed and Mr. Sun has been in a good mood because we have had beautiful weather. I love this outfit because it's simple, edgy, cool, and on trend all at the same time. Enjoy!

Floral Romper

I am so in love with this romper! Yesterday everybody at school thought it was a super short dress haha. If this was a dress it would be way to short to wear unless you have shorts underneath. I decided to keep the accessories simple because of the bold print of the romper. I am a girl who loves her prints so when I saw this, I HAD to buy it! I love this romper because it fits perfectly. Most rompers I buy don't fit right because i have a short torso so they end up being really slouchy at the top. This one has adjustable straps so I was happy!

Style Inspiration!

So we all know who Angela Simmons is and if you don't I suggest you Google now! She is another one of my favorite celebrities not only because she is a smart and savvy business woman but she is a fashion killa to say the least! I can honestly say I can't remember an outfit of hers that I had to step back and say to myself, WHY? She is a girl who is all about her shoes, just like me, and with her sense of style she definitely makes GREAT picks! So here is one of her outfits that I choose to re-create, I had fun making this outfit and you all will be seeing more of her on my blog!

Here are just a couple of my outfit of the day the last 2 weeks. As you all might have already guessed I love the bathroom mirror at school haha! It's the only option I have when my photographer my little sister isn't around. But I promise I will try and find different locations to shoot. Enjoy!

Now Trending: Crop Sets!

I would have to say that this is by far my favorite trend. I mean come on, who doesn't love a little skin showing?? The great thing about this trend is that it comes in so many different options. Designers have made crop set skirts, pants, shorts, and I've even seen a crop dress! This is a trend that I don't see fading away anytime soon. It's great for all occasions because the tops can be very modest when paired with a high waist bottom. Plus this can make your figure really pop and give you a taller appearance for us short girls.

LBD

This day was absolutely beautiful! I spent the day with my family doing a little shopping for my sister's upcoming prom. We went to the local mall close to my house and spent about 3 hours there. Now three hours shopping? No problem! But try that after a workout, YIKES! My poor legs took a whole week to recover; so my advice to you all, don't take months of telling yourself you'll go to the gym. Get up and do it!

Spring Rainy Day

Have you ever had difficulty finding something to wear on a rainy day? Something that protected you but at the same time was season appropriate? Well no need to look any further! I have two really cute outfit ideas that feature two rain jackets that give a new definition to the term itself. Who says a rain coat has to be plastic, stiff, and for a younger age group? Not me!
